I came across something on the net that boggles my mind. I have been in the Sears Tower in Chicago and it is pretty dad gum high. At one time I think it was the tallest building in the world. I can't imagine something being almost twice as high. (if you don't count the antennas) Take a look at the Burj.
Yes, those are "sky scrapers" below this thing.

Good Lord. I'm sick to my stomach. What a Crazy Effer.
Why? Really Why does anything need to be that big. HEck, It probably takes half a work day to get to the top floor via elevator since I'm assuming you have to change elevators multiple times to reach the upper floors (shaking heads). Ya know, I always said, Just because you can, doesn't mean you should and this is exactly what I'm talking about LOL!!
That things, like half a MILE high! You could not pay me enough to go to the top of that, and I'm not that frightened of heights.
