I keep thinking about how the media is feeding this hysteria, and it's pissing me off.
I was raised to believe that one doesn't shout "Fire!!" in a crowded theater unless it is actually in flames. Am I the only one who still believes this??
I know it's nasty. I know it can kill people. So can ordinary flu...and, as that chart shows, so can any number of other illnesses that don't receive anywhere near the attention. Gracious, according to those numbers only Leprosy has fewer deaths than Swine Flu!

The word I got was that regular old influenza kills 30-50K Americans per year. Swine flu has killed about a thousand Americans so far this year.
Wake me when people start dropping like flies.

Oh, Jim, you CSI people are too much. We didn't give away his kennel or his dish or any of the other stuff, either. The guy has a farm with five dogs and IT'S A FARM. The last thing he needed was a leash, for pete's sakes.
Don't Know if my Dad made it as a Statistic but he passed away after spending 8 days in ICU with the swine flu.In the elderly it attacks the lungs the heart and other organs. In my Dads case it attacked his lungs,heart and kidneys. He went into the hospital on Aungust 26 ,2009 came home on September 2,2009 and passed away quietly in his sleep on September 7th,2009
